CW4R is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization built around the generosity and support of our community. Founded in 2018, we collected and distributed items to those in need after Hurricane Florence. In January 2019, we expanded our efforts by securing grants and contributions from individuals and businesses to begin purchasing new furniture, household goods and personal items. Between 2018 and 2023, we have assisted more than 500 families in the recovery process. Our mission is important to us and we look forward to expanding our reach throughout Eastern North Carolina, working across multiple counties and partnering with other nonprofits and government agencies to provide assistance as well as educational opportunities for disaster preparedness and recovery resources.
